Hat-trick hero Arthur Baldwin fired Bristol University to victory despite a valiant effort from USW 5ths.
Baldwin claimed his first goal eight minutes into the game with a close-range finish courtesy of a through-ball from left winger Faisal Elfayez.
However, despite continued pressure from Bristol, including a disallowed goal and hitting the woodwork twice, USW found an equaliser in the 32nd minute following a quick break with a first time finish from striker Eddie Barker.
The teams went into the break deadlocked, with Bristol surviving a goal-line scrap right on half time.

Bristol came out the stronger side in the second half, with Baldwin grabbing his second of the game 11 minutes in with a close-range finish from the centre of the box.
He secured his hat-trick just 12 minutes later with a similar finish past USW keeper Laurence Dockerty.
USW showed spirit however, with a deflected effort by Jack Sowerby looping over the keeper following a set-piece.
But the hosts were unable to find a late equaliser despite continued pressure and the match finished with Bristol University the victors.
