USW netball boss Phillipa Yarranton says team bonding is behind their resurgence since the start of the season.
Yarranton’s side remain unbeaten in the league, and the Welsh international and Cardiff Dragons star explained why after watching her charges chalk up an impressive 48-29 success against Cardiff Met 4ths.
She said: “I’m very happy. Every time we go work on something in training and then see it implemented in games, that is all I want as a coach.”
“We had a sticky third quarter, but we found our way out of it. We injected some fresh legs for the fourth quarter and everyone made an impact.”
The team cohesion was clear for all to see in this latest victory.
Yarranton added: “They have really bonded. That helps and you can see that through the passages of play on the court.”
The buoyant USW side will face Swansea 3rds next week.
