EFL Championship: Swansea City v Blackburn Rovers
Kick Off: 15:00
Venue: Liberty Stadium, Swansea
SWANSEA City look to build on their good start to the season as they face off against high scoring Blackburn Rovers.
Swansea currently sit third in the EFL Championship as they look to build from their win in midweek against Stoke City who they comfortably beat 2-0.
The visitors come into this game the highest scoring team in the Championship with 18 goals in 8 games, but they are coming to the Liberty Stadium off the back of a defeat against current league leaders Reading.
Head to head record
The last time the sides met was earlier in the year where they drew 1-1, in fact, a draw has been the result in the last three meetings between the two clubs.
Swansea haven’t lost to Blackburn at home since 1983 but the two clubs didn’t face each other at all between 1983-2011.

Blackburn Rovers Championship form: WWDLLWL
Team News
Swansea will be without summer signing Morgan Gibbs-White who is out with a long term injury, but that is it for the injury list for the Swans.
Blackburn will be without starting keeper Thomas Kaminski, Aynsley Pears will be covering the injured goalkeeper after making his debut against Reading.
It will be a fascinating battle between the front men for both teams as the Championship top goal scorer Adam Armstrong who has nine goals to his name already this season will face off against forever reliable Andre Ayew.
Verdict
As previous results suggest I believe that the game will finish in a draw as both sides have a lot of attacking threats, but if anyone comes out on top, I believe that Swansea could edge it based on some professional game management they have shown this season.
