THE University of South Wales 1st welcome Bristol to the USW Sport Park as the home side bid to prove they have developed as a team.

USW were on the receiving end of a narrow defeat at the beginning of the campaign and will be aiming to overturn that result in the return fixture.

Megan Jones a USW first team player said: “We’re really looking forward to battling Bristol. We feel like we’ve mentally and physically prepared for this match.”

She added: “If we beat them tomorrow it will show the progress we’ve made as a squad since the narrow loss at the beginning of the season.”

Both outfits have had mixed fortunes this season, often struggling to string together consecutive wins. The two teams are currently on a similar trajectory and the result of Wednesdays game could define how their campaigns are concluded.

Tip-off is at 15:30pm at the USW Sport Park in Trefforest.
