USW Men’s 1st manager Steve Savage hasn’t let semi final nerves play a part in preparing for his side’s semi final meeting with local rivals Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Savage and coach Lee Kendall have built a new regime this campaign. Three early morning training sessions a week and a strong team ethic have combined to ensure the side have already won the league, without losing a game.
USW have been edged out by the Archers in two previous semi-finals. They lost 2-0 last season and 2-1 in the 2016/17 campaign.
But history has no place in today and Savage is focused on making sure his squad know what is expected of them.
