USW netball 2nds suffered defeat at the hands of their Bath Spa counterparts at the Sport Park.
Although the game lacked major incident, Bath were able to exert enough control to enjoy majority possession of the ball.
The momentum gradually built in their favour in the late stages, enabling them to secure a deserved win.
The pace of the game was snappy and the level of competitiveness high throughout.
USW’s Goal Defence Jade Leonard offered an impressive defensive performance throughout the entire game with her tight marking.
Goals arrived from from Lauren Morrison (Goal Shoot) and Millie Fahey (Goal Attack) for Bath Spa and Roxy Williams (Goal Shoot) and Madi Neye (Goal Attack) for USW.
Despite the defeat, USW’s team spirit remained strong throughout as they supported each other right to end.
With this loss, USW remain fifth in the league table and look ahead to a home match against Royal Agricultural Women’s 1sts on November 22.
