Two missed penalties saved USW 4ths further embarrassment as they slipped to a 5-1 loss against Swansea 3rds.
Number 11 Luke Burgess had his attempt saved by Stanley Dodge in the 53rd minute and striker Finley Clements blazed his effort from 12 yards over the bar with the final kick of the game.
The misses prevented the scoreline from becoming embarrassing, but even as it stood this was a deeply disappointing day for the hosts.
Swansea took control of the game early on with number seven Cayden Ward making it 1-0 10 minutes into the first half.
In the 20th minute the visitors doubled their lead with a goal from Clements.
USW never seemed to take control of the game, with Swansea dominating the ball for the full 90 minutes.
USW closed the gap with a free-kick from Jacob Iley in the 37th minute but the home side lacked threat other than that.
Swansea’s Matthew King made it 3-1 right at the end of the first half, with USW’s failure to keep possession the biggest difference between the two sides.
After 65 minutes Burgess showed real quality, dribbling down the line and sending in a cross for Swansea to make it 4-1.
Soon after, Clements doubled his tally to make it 5-1, topping off an impressive performance from Swansea.
