HIGH-FLYING Bristol Rovers are in search of their fourth consecutive league win as they travel to Doncaster Rovers today.

Graham Coughlan’s side have enjoyed a promising start to the campaign and have gone six games unbeaten, a run of form which has seen them climb to fourth in the League One table.

The Gas’ defender Mark Little, who missed the last three league games due to injury, is expected to make the trip to the Keepmoat Stadium.

Captain Ollie Clark also looks set to be available for selection again after recovering from a knock he sustained against Gillingham last month.

Doncaster, meanwhile, are hoping to bounce back from two back-to-back defeats against Portsmouth and Oxford United.

The Donny, who sit 11th in the table, are without a win in three league games, with their last coming against Peterborough United on September 21.

Toothless performances from Darren Moore’s men have cost them this season, and the former West Brom boss will be looking for a response from his players.

Pre-match thoughts

Bristol Rovers first-team coach Kevin Maher told the club’s official website: “We’re in a decent period for ourselves so we’re looking to keep going with that. The momentum is good, so we’ll keep building and keep working.

“What we have been doing to get ourselves in this situation, nothing has changed how we’ve worked this week so we’ll keep going along the same lines.”

Doncaster manager Moore said: “I haven’t been surprised by their good start, they’ve got a good manager who knows what he wants from his team.

“You identify with them how they want to play and Graham Coughlan has really got them going and giving everything for each other.

“They have picked up some really good results so far this season so it presents another tough game for us.”
