Welcome to the University of South Wales’ Sports Journalism website. Expo-Sport is where you will see information about the course and, more importantly, work produced by students on the course, as well as students from other related courses. Before we welcome the first cohort in September, we’ve offered you a flavour of work by Journalism and Radio students in our Talking Sport section.
We’ll showcase the best work and provide news, interviews and insights into what’s happening in the world of sport – from reporting on university teams to examining the key issues being discussed by fans.
Watch out too for some big name interviews over the coming months. And make sure you follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
If you want to apply for the new BA (Hons) Sports Journalism, you can apply here. And if you need some advice about what’s in the course or whether it’s for you, contact the course leader Julie Kissick
Julie is a journalist and producer and has worked in newspapers, television and radio. She was the first woman to produce Soccer Sunday for ITV and spent several years at BBC Sport. She is a regular contributor to sports programmes and writes for a range of sports publications. She launched the new course with a conference attended by a range of sports journalists and industry specialists. She says running the new course is one of the highlights of her career.
